Non-Typical Nation's Exciting Weekend at the Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen Show

For the second consecutive year, Brody, the host of Non-Typical Nation, has been crowned as the ambassador of the Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen Show, underscoring his unwavering commitment to fostering thriving sportsmen's gatherings in Western Canada. This year's event, held earlier this month, was nothing short of exhilarating, packed with remarkable speakers, cutting-edge gear, and unforgettable experiences that left attendees buzzing with excitement.

One of the show's standout moments was the captivating presentation by Jeremy Evans, the acclaimed author of the book "Mauled." Evans fearlessly recounted his life-altering encounter with a grizzly bear, delving into the mental and physical challenges he faced in the aftermath of the attack. His inspiring journey of resilience and overcoming adversity left a profound impact on all who attended.

Joining Evans were other esteemed presenters including Mitchel Payment, Lyrik Albert, Brad Fenson, Josh Nugent, Wes David, and Jerrika from "In the Wild," each sharing their unique insights and experiences in the world of hunting and fishing.

APA Archery, a perennial favorite at the show, showcased their latest bows, including the highly anticipated Black Mamba Pro. Non-typical Nation's co-host, Troy Esau, was among the privileged few to be equipped with this cutting-edge bow. The team at APA Archery continues to push boundaries, and their presence at the show was met with enthusiasm from attendees.

Another innovation that caught attendees' attention was the unveiling of Get Booked Inc.'s revolutionary booking app, promising to streamline the process of scheduling outdoor excursions and activities—an innovation with the potential to transform the way we plan our adventures.

CST Handmade Lures drew crowds with their impeccable craftsmanship, while Nature Fellas' Brandon, proudly displayed a magnificent 40” Bull Trout mounted by Dave Booth Taxidermy—a testament to the artistry and dedication of both brands. CST Handmade Lures has proven itself year after year to have the highest quality lures on the market today.

Reconeco Outdoors showcased their state-of-the-art Kunuk HD Cellular Trail Cameras, offering outdoor enthusiasts a Canadian tried, trued and tested product. A few booth’s down Wild TV showcased their innovative Wild TV Plus app, with Lance Albert from BRCO Hunts representing the brand with enthusiasm. Their sponsorship of the speakers stage further underscored their commitment to the outdoor community.

At the joint booth of Dave Booth Taxidermy and Non-Typical Nation, visitors were treated to a comprehensive display of taxidermy, branded merch and Non-Typical Nation TV airing throughout the show. To cap off the show, Brody conducted a drawing for a generous $1000 gift certificate to Dave Booth Taxidermy, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees.

Beyond the exhibitors, the Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen Show offered a diverse array of attractions, from fly fishing seminars to a trout fishing pond where children could reel in their very own catch. With hundreds of boats, hunting and fishing outfitters, and even a delectable grass-fed jerky company from Saskatchewan, there was something for every outdoor enthusiast to enjoy.

As the curtains have officially closed on another successful event, Non-Typical Nation extends heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, sponsors, and attendees who made the Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen Show an unforgettable experience. With anticipation building for next year's show, the outdoor community eagerly awaits the opportunity to once again come together and celebrate their shared passion for adventure and exploration.
