Easy Venison Meatball Subs

In 20 minutes, turn your ground venison into delicious Italian Meatball Subs that everyone can enjoy! Make extra meatballs and freeze them for later.

Easy Venison Meatball Sub

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground venison

  • bacon grease (optional)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 tablespoon Non-Typical Cajun Spice

  • 4 Italian bread rolls

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

  • 1 jar marinara sauce

 

Instructions

  1. Combine venison, bacon grease, egg, salt, pepper, Cajun, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Take a golf ball sized portion of meat and roll into a meatball.

  2. In a non-stick pan on medium high heat, add olive oil and meatballs.

  3. Cook for 5 minutes or until meatballs are cooked.

  4. Butter Italian rolls and dust with garlic powder.

  5. Add meatballs to Italian rolls, top with marinara sauce and cheese.

  6. Place in the oven on broil until rolls are browned and cheese has melted.
