Ruffed Grouse Chicken Burgers

This is a very quick and simple but delicious recipe for any grouse or store bought chicken. I highly encourage you to take the kids out and get some chickens, then let them give you a hand in the kitchen while cooking up the game that they harvested. Nothing will make your child feel prouder then providing for their family. Teach them young and they will have a skill that’ll last them a lifetime.

Ingredients:

  • Two Chicken Breasts

  • Club House Garlic Plus Seasoning

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • ½ Cup of Flour

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Hamburger Buns

  • Tomato

  • Romain Lettuce

  • Smoked Gouda Cheese

  • Mayonnaise

Prepare the Chicken:

  1. Butterfly the chicken breast so they are fairly even. This will speed up the cooking process, take up the whole bun and make it much more tender.

  2. Season your chicken with Garlic Plus seasoning on both sides.

  3. Prepare your flour by putting it on a plate and season it with salt and pepper.

  4. Lightly coat your chicken breasts in the flour.

  5. Add enough oil to a pan to cover the chicken halfway up. Set your heat on medium and let the oil heat up. The amount of oil depends on the size of pan you are using.

  6. Check the heat of the oil with a small pinch of the flour mixture. When the flour bubbles, the oil is at the right temperature.

  7. Slowly lay your chicken into the hot oil, making sure to lay the chicken away from you in case is splashes. If it splashes, the hot oil will go away from you and not burn you.

  8. Cook for roughly two to three minutes per side, or till the chicken has browned on both sides.

  9. Remove the chicken from the heat and place on a paper towel lined plate to remove the excess oil.

Prepare the Buns:

  1. Add mayonnaise to both sides of the bun.

  2. Put on a couple pieces of romaine lettuce.

  3. Put on one of your chicken breasts.

  4. Add a slice of tomato on top of your chicken.

  5. Add two or three slices of smoked gouda cheese.

  6. Put the top of the bun on and ENJOY!

You can substitute the Garlic Plus Seasoning with one of Non-Typical Nations many spices and seasonings.
