Antler Obsession is a 100% Canadian based company that specializes in big game health and vitality, specifically Elk, Moose, Whitetail Deer, and Mule Deer.
Studies have shown in the winter months Elk, Moose, and Deer lack crucial vitamins and minerals that often dampen health and overall vitality. Wildlife in northern climates require a higher density of vitamins, minerals, and proteins and that is where we come in. We have designed, tested and proven the ultimate vitamin, mineral, and protein mix to improve the vitality of your big game herds and overall health.
Added vitamins, Protein, and Bio-Available Minerals!
Minerals play an important role in antler production. A buck or a bull’s antlers are on average 50% organic matter; built up primarily with proteins, calcium, and phosphorus. If the demand for these minerals is met on a daily basis, antler production and overall vitality can be significantly increased.
Doe’s and cows need the minerals to put back what is passed through their milk to their young. Their milk passes high amounts of calcium and phosphorus to their young for bone development. Phosphorus can’t be organically produced by a doe's body, which makes these added minerals a great aid in the health of your herd.
For quick results: Remove vegetation and simply pour a bag of Trophy Mix near an active deer, elk or moose trail. Repeat between 1-2 times per month.
For long term results: Loosen up the ground soil, pour 2 bags of Trophy Mix and soak with water. Minerals will absorb into the ground. Repeat between 1-2 times per month.
*Make it easy for deer, elk, and moose to locate the mineral mixture with several mineral piles.
What makes up Trophy Mineral Mix?
At antler obsession, we are on a never-ending mission to forever improve the overall North American hunting experience. Being a Canadian based company our first product released is one that we have been working on since 2015, the ultimate big game supplement for Elk, Moose, and Deer living in a northern climate aka “Canada”. Trophy Mineral Mix is designed specifically for animals in a northern climate.
We looked deeply into the minerals, vitamins, and proteins these animals require to reach ultimate health and vitality. Most box store minerals boast big antlers and more deer, but we wanted to design something that would not only increase antler growth, but also body size, reproduction rate, and overall health and vitality.
Everyone loves big antlers so let's focus on that to start. Antlers are composed of primarily proteins during the growing phase, but they are also filled with minerals. Once the antlers harden in the late summer, they are roughly half protein and half minerals. Calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and sodium are the four most common minerals found in hardened antlers. Lesser amounts of other minerals found include potassium, barium, iron, aluminum, zinc, strontium and manganese. Each and every mineral plays an important role, so we made darn sure to include the appropriate portions of the minerals required.
But there are dozens of other important minerals and vitamins these animals depend on. Such as phosphorous and calcium. We found female species require high amounts of phosphorous and calcium which is required for milk production when lactating. This also helps with bone growth for growing fawns and calves, and maintaining strong bones in mature animals.
All this mineral talk you might be wondering, where the heck do vitamins fit in? Well, your mother always said “don’t forget your vitamins” well this is true for wildlife as well, especially wildlife living in a northern climate with harsh winters, droughts, or limited vegetation. Vitamins A, D, and E are the big 3 these animals rely heavily on. Vitamin D is synthesized in sufficient amounts when exposed to sunlight. Vitamin E and precursors of vitamin A are abundant in green, leafy forage. Deficiencies in these 3 vitamins are always seen during extended drought, winter, and limited vegetation areas. Vitamin E is important in immune function and in the integrity of cell membranes. Vitamin A is important in tissue differentiation and overall growth.
And just to make this supplement a little “sweeter” we decided to add some molasses. We have proven that this keeps the animals coming back and cures that sweet tooth that every single mammal has!
Now, this is the part where we lay it all on the line. Share our secret mixture! This is in no particular order but here it is:
Molasses, Protein, Calcium, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Iodine, and Cobalt.
